CrystalX2

iXpressGenes, a resident associate of HudsonAlpha institute for Biotechnology in Huntsville, Alabama, announces the CrystalX2, an automated microscope for determining protein crystal leads. The CrystalX2 is the first scope to image and scan using fluorescent light to capture the trace-labeled protein crystal leads. This device enables researchers in biotech and pharma to find more crystal conditions faster, with an automated image capture and archiving program. The CrystalX2 was launched at the American Crystallography Association annual meeting in Boston, MA.
